Today, Zeiss is announcing a brand new 21mm f2.8 Loxia lens. This lens is the third addition to the Loxia lineup designed for Sony FE mount cameras–and so it will cater to a full frame sensor. This lens isn’t specifically said to have weather sealing but Zeiss instead states that there is a rubber ring around the lens mount area that keeps out anything unsavory.
For video shooters, you can deactivate the aperture clicks for the aperture ring.
When the Zeiss 21mm f2.8 Loxia lens launches in December, USD 1,499 (excl. VAT) or EUR 1,259.66 (excl. VAT). More tech specs are after the jump.
