Why? Why you say? Does the world need another camera that’s cool for the selfie crowd? Fujifilm seems to think so based on their customers. But in general, folks who use Instant cameras love doing it.
The Fujifilm Instax Mini 70 not only features a selfie mode for you to take that narcissistic image of you being scandalous at a party, but it also has a new feature for shooting in low light. Basically it uses the flash metering and judges the ambient lighting in the scene then finds a way to effectively mix the two together to create a more evenly balanced image–except it does this without you needing to do any sort of work in manual mode; probably because there isn’t one! Like many of the Instax cameras, it will take Instax Mini film.
The camera also sports a high key mode to get brighter images.
When it launches this November, you’ll shell out $139.95 to get that organic Instagram look. The camera will come in Canary Yellow, Moon White and Island Blue.
