There are certain stories that we run across that literally make us stop reading and say, “What?”
Laughing Squid via Business Insider shared the news of the Belfie stick–a selfie stick specifically designed to let you take images of your beautiful butt. Yes, this is a thing that exists. So in turn, that means that a Belfie is a selfie that features your butt.
So why does the world need this? According to the Business Insider article:
“Before creating the product, On.com polled over 10,000 selfie experts. They found that many users wanted to highlight their assets from behind, but had difficulty maneuvering this type of shot with a traditional selfie stick.”
It works by mounting your camera on the end and enabling the bluetooth connection. Then by pressing the button on the end of the stick, you can snap a Belfie for all the creeps following you on Instagram.
If you’re vain enough, they’re available for pre-order at $79.99. But as a warning, a new study came out that hints that men who take way too many selfies lean more towards psychopathic tendencies. Someone should show them the right way to do a selfie.
