After an embarrassing expose revealed Nikon was still selling faulty D600 cameras in China, the Japanese camera company has reinitiated the D600 service program around the world. Nikon is taking all issues with the camera seriously and it has promised to offer users a special service to have their cameras inspected and repaired even if product warranty has expired.
Nikon will offer a cleaning service remove the oil and dusty on dirty sensors, and if necessary, replace the shutter as well as any other related components free of charge. What’s more the company will replace your camera with a new D600 or an equivalent model if the user’s camera remains stained even after being serviced multiple times.
