Recently, we reported about a new invention from Sony that would revolutionize mobile photography. Today, Sony announces the previously rumored products, and they are just as awesome as predicted. The QX10 and QX100 are two accessory lenses that are used in combination with an Android smartphone or iPhone. Basically, the devices contain a lens, a sensor, a couple of buttons, and most importantly: wireless connectivity. They are operated via the smartphone’s display, and send the pictures they capture directly to the phone, so they can be shared immediately. Whereas the QX10 is a small 10x zoom unit, the QX100 contains the acclaimed lens and sensor from the RX100 compact camera.
