Tap and Dye makes some seriously fashionable camera straps at an affordable price.  Their LEGACY straps were designed to adorn mirrorless cameras and vintage film cameras. And today, they’re announcing a pretty big evolution. The previous straps (such as the LEGACY wrist and shoulder straps that we reviewed) used a split ring that was a tad frustrating to attach to the camera. Their newest addition to the LEGACY line is the same as the previous shoulder strap in nearly every way except for a brand new brass spring clip–that actually attaches to a split ring. This clip will probably not give as much security as the split ring (we’ll have to test that in our review) but it surely is a heck of a lot easier to attach it and detach it. That means that it will be easier to use with a Sony NEX camera or Micro Four Thirds.

The straps themselves are still made from leather treated with natural oils and dark amber beeswax for extra protection.

Antique Tan and Dark Amber Beeswax are launching now and Black & Natural along with Royal Navy Patina will be launching in beginning of July. You can currently snag one for $74 if you check out their product page. Tech specs and more images are after the jump.
