When Sigma first announced their 18-35mm f1.8 lens for APS-C sensor DSLRs, the world was astonished. They have created the world’s fastest zoom lens with autofocus and the lens seems to be a seriously killer optic. And today, they’re announcing that the price point is $799. At that point, you’ll find it undercutting the price of many competitors’ lenses who only can go as wide an aperture as f2.8.
The lens is available for pre-order right now at B&H Photo. But you might want to take a look at our first impressions of the lens first. Our review is coming soon.
