After revolutionizing the social media world with their 140 character microblogging service back in 2006, Twitter recently set out to start an entirely new revolution. It came in form of their micro-videblogging service Vine, which allows users to share six second video clips via Twitter. Up until now, there was no dedicated Vine app for the Android platform, only one for iOS. But this has just changed, and now Android users as well can fully enjoy mobile videoblogging. For the moment the app lacks functions such as front camera use and push notifications, but these will soon be added via an update. In the meantime, Vine for Android can be downloaded via the Google Play Store.
