Though the news from NAB 2013 has slowed down a bit, it still is streaming in–and Benro is one of the latest to show us their wears.  The company is announcing their A38F and A48F monopods–and the distinguishing difference is their length/height. These monopods are ideal for the nerve-wracked photographer. Those photo snappers often need to move fast from place to place and tripods often slow them down many times. The solution is often a monopod; lots of videographers user them to keep their kit lighter. But in this case, the monopods have feet that give even more stabilization.
The units are made of Aluminum Alloy legs in combination with strategically select cast and machined aluminum and magnesium alloy components.
Those photographers who drink way too much coffee will need to make the ever critical decision between two versions (flip lock or twist lock leg options) for the length of their choice. But you’ve got time–because they’ll drop around the start of may and have a price range from $139 to $199.
