Today is an unfortunate day for UK photographers as Jessops, the largest high street photography retailer in the UK has officially announced that they will be shutting down all 187 stores today, January 11th. Due to the intense competition from online retailers, the brick-and-mortar giant has admitted defeat after struggling with mediocre profits for years. PriceWaterhouseCoopers was in charge of finding a savior for Jessops but was unable to come up with a buyer.

You can head over to Jessops’ website for more info on their returns, repairs, and the sort here.
