It seems like Lomography is really commited to the 110 format. Since the re-introduction of the 110 format a while ago, the company has brought us a number of varieties of 110 film as well as a couple of new 110 cameras. The latest additions to their lineup of 110 products are the Lonster Redscale Color Sensation 110 color negative film, and the DigitaLIZA 110 scanning mask that can be used with any backlit flatbed scanner.
The Lobster Redscale Color Sensation film is, as the name says, a redscale color negative film, which means that it will produce images with a strong orange or red tint. This is a specialty film and not something you will use for general photography, but I guess it is needless to say that this goes very well with the overall Lomo spirit. The DigitaLIZA is a useful aid for scanning 110 negatives with a flatbed scanner. Just like a regular scanning mask for 35mm film, the DigitaLIZA keeps your 110 negative strips in place and lets you easily digitalize them.
Both products are available immediately via Lomography’s online store. They come at US-$ 7.90 for the Lobster Redscale film and US-$ 24.90 for the DigitaLIZA scanning mask.
