The folks over at Cub and Co have been pretty busy creating cool stuff for city dwelling photographers, and their latest offering is the Cub and Co All City Cycling strap. The makers of the Shooter Strap and the Shooter bag are targeting their newest offering at the photographer who likes to take bike rides and carry minimal gear–and there’s a ton of those at least here in NYC. To that end, the strap is designed to work and function almost like a sling style camera bag.

For starters, the Cub and Co All City Cycling strap goes around your chest from one shoulder with the camera down to your waist or behind your back. Then, to keep it secure, it uses another strap that goes underneath your arm to lock it in place on your body. To cater to various body types, the strap is adjustable. When you’re all done riding, it can become a normal sling strap or can use the other strap to become a wrist strap. Then when you’re ready to go riding again, you just put it around your back. It’s perfect for a photographer who doesn’t want to take a camera bag with them; and there are a TON of those photographers out there.
Seriously, the Cub and Co All City Cycling strap seems to be some innovation when it comes to camera straps. It’s a very unique idea that actually does make sense for a niche photographer who populates what’s essentially where most of the country lives.
The Cub and Co All City Cycling strap is being created in collaboration with @nevernotriding and on May 4th, it’s officially launching at the Lomography Gallery Store in NYC.
