Here we go–the yearly refresh that Nikon does to its entry level DSLR. This year, we’ve got the D3300–a camera that has some minor upgrades and borrows heavily from its bigger brothers. But at its heart, the camera has a new EXPEED 4 engine, which helps it to do a lot more.

At CES 2014, we were able to take a quick look at a pre-production unit.

Nikon Releases New D3300, 35mm f/1.8G FX And Other New Products

At CES2014, Nikon has introduced new products. Little is innovative, there are the usual incremental updates we are becoming used to. They range from a new D3300 DSLR with the new Nikon 18-55mm f3.5-5.6G AF-S DX VR II Lens, as well as some new CoolPix Cameras. There is one new product on the list, the new AF-S NIKKOR 35mm f1.8G full frame lens.  This seems to be a replacement for the Nikon 35mm f2D. These products will be available soon.
