Today, Adobe is announcing the latest set of updates to Photoshop CC. The updates seem to mostly target designers and photographers looking to create promotional material for themselves. The UI has also been changed a bit to make it look cleaner. Additionally, it seems like Adobe is embracing the move to tablets even more with these design tweaks.
Beyond this, Adobe Lightroom Mobile is getting an enhancement with the addition of Dehaze and a new Adobe camera interface. Camera RAW is also adding the new and very popular Dehaze feature. More new features from Photoshop that have been pulled from Adobe’s press release are after the jump.
Correction, the big update is really just the camera. The rest has been here since Adobe MAX. Sorry for that.
An enhanced user experience with a customizable toolbar and workspaces, robust touch capabilities that let you quickly perform common tasks on touch-enabled devices like the Microsoft Surface Pro, and a modern UI that delivers a clean and consistent look.
Greater efficiency and expanded creative possibilities for design, with enhancements to the sleek new Photoshop CC design environment for web, UI, and UX design — Design Space (Preview); new Artboards capabilities; Font Favorites that help you quickly discover the font you need; the ability to directly import SVG files that you can rescale in your designs; Glyph panel enhancements that make it easier to access, sort, and work with glyphs; and Creative Cloud Libraries improvements that speed up your asset access and management workflows.
More creative freedom and flexibility with the ability to easily work with realistic 3D human figures and incorporate them into your images and designs directly in Photoshop. Use new Adobe Fuse CC (Preview) to create realistic 3D models, sync them to your Libraries, and then insert them into a Photoshop scene. In Photoshop, you can apply poses and animations, and quickly adjust camera angles, lighting, and position to get precisely the look you want in your image, design, or comp. This integration with Fuse CC is available in English only in all geographies where Creative Cloud is offered, with the exception of France and Quebec.
