In an effort to help urban dwelling photographers maintain a low profile, Lowepro is introducing the Transit Sling 250 AW and the Backpack 350 AW. These bags are meant to help you blend in by not looking like a camera bag. While walking in the city the Sling 250, weighing in at a super flyweight 0.8kg, will carry a mirrorless camera like the Olympus OMD or Compact DSLR like the Nikon D3200 along with a few lenses. The 250 will also carry an IPad . The Backpack, which weighs 1 kilo (1.1kg), 350 is bigger and able to carry a standard DSLR along with larger lenses. The Backpack 350 can also carry a 15in laptop in a dedicated compartment. Both bags have all weather protection. They are also both offered in a simple slate grey.
The Transit series will be available at the end of June.
