Hawk has decided to develop a new line of cinema prime lenses for PL mount camcorders. The lenses look really nice and have some very interesting features; one of the prominent ones being a T1 (f0.95) aperture. Hawk has previously made anamorphic lenses, but according to EOSHD, these probably aren’t. The lenses are various and there is a 17.5mm and a 25mm but a 21mm, 25mm, 32mm, 40mm, 50mm, 65mm, 90mm and a 120mm.
As for price? DSLR News Shooter estimates that the set will be above $100,000. Personally, I’m wondering how these are going to compare against the likes of Zeiss, Cooke and Canon.
