Swtronix, has just released a 3-stud battery option for the BMCC. Called the GP-A-BMCC. This unit with it’s 3-stud mounting point can be added to any type of shoulder rig system that accepts this type of mount as well act as a counter balance. You have 2 p-tap style connections and a DC connection for the Blackmagic Cinema Camera.
Of course, Switronix also has a few other options as well if you are one of the lucky few right now to have a BMCC.
