Following in the tradition of their 12-35mm f2.8 X OIS lens, Panasonic has also announced the 35-100mm f2.8 Power OIS X series lens. Together, the two lenses cover the traditional 24-70mm and 70-200mm focal lengths.
The lens has a bunch of features, such as a optics with a Nano coating, constant f2.8 aperture (though the 12-35mm is said to actually change aperture if you read enough forums), 18 elements in 13 groups, one Ultra Extra Low Dispersion element, 2 ED elements, Power O.I.S (which should never be used with Olympus’s IS system), and seven aperture blades.
