Camera bags are one of the most possible accessories of any photographer. Whether you are a newcomer or a seasoned professional, you need a device to hold the gadget that brings your visions to life. While there are various camera bags today, Manfrotto’s newest bag range makes a clear departure from the standard designs to bring something chic to the table.
Manfrotto has always made some fantastic camera bags, and the new range is going to add to that. Titled Uncover, the camera bags are for photographers who often travel, whether it be meetings, assignments or a photo walk. In fact, whether you are a professional or a young enthusiast, Manfrotto‘s camera bag will help you to carry your camera around for personal moments too.

The range has four products, with multiple formats and capacities. The backpack lineup has a 30L and a 24L option, while the cross-body range offers a 12L messenger bag and a compact 7L messenger/sling bag. Each design offers a distinct choice and size, depending on your style of shooting and gear.
One of the most prominent features is Manfrotto‘s SmartLift compartment, which also comes with a roll-top construction. This helps the bag to expand when there is more gear, and contract when it is lower. The camera bag comes with a removable camera insert at the bottom of the system. This will enable the bag to switch between a dedicated camera carry setup and a clean everyday bag in seconds. The exterior is made of TriTex, which the company states is a custom three-layer fabric developed specifically for this range. The material helps with durability and water resistance, a must for many. With YKK water-resistant zippers and a coated base, one gets added protection for gear.
Manfrotto states that the company has also thought of the access department. There is quick side access to remove the camera from the bag, and a dedicated AirTag pocket to help you track your bag. Last but not least is the laser-cut FlexGrid front panel support, which offers a complete accessory customization, while maintaining the clean appearance of the camera bag. There is extra harness padding to carry the bag with extra comfort, and the ventilated back panel helps on a hot summer’s day.
We have reviewed a few camera bags from the company, and we have always had a great experience. For instance, in our review of the street waist bag, we said:
The Manfrotto Street Waist Bag is a great way to have fast access to a few small to mid-sized lenses. As a waist bag, it’s quick and easy to use. Then, it can easily switch over to a sling-style bag. The gear sits at the ready, yet there’s not any real weight pulling down your back or shoulders. Add in the $40 price and green color and there is a lot to like about this bag.
Keeping that in mind, our hope is that the Uncover lineup is designed to meet the demands of photographers. The company’s new bag certainly seems quite stylish, and designed for photographers who want something stylish. The company has not yet revealed the prices, so you will have to inquire with your closest retail store.
