Cameras, especially compact cameras, have become important for many young photographers. They continue to be an important upgrade from their phones to a dedicate camera, but still not as expensive as other mirrorless or DSLR offerings. If you are someone who is also looking for such an update from your phone, then here are three offerings that can be quite important.
Leica Q

The Leica Q has a 24MP full frame sensor, a 28mm f1.7 lens, a leaf shutter and more. This is the first of the Q series cameras, which are designed for professional photographers who want a small set-up. It offers a metal finish, both body and lens, and also offers a fast autofocus system for a camera of this nature. The device is also known for producing a “beautiful symphony of rich colors,” as well as has a high ISO result. Moreover, the bokeh is stunning addition. You can also rely on macro mode for some images and you also get good contrast with black and white images.
Ricoh GR II

This version is the second iteration of the popular Ricoh GR cameras. Designed for street photographers, the second addition has an 18mm lens, along with a 16mm APS-C sensor. This is also one of the last GR cameras with a flash, making it an ideal choice for those who want a strobe. The focus is pretty amazing when it comes to shooting during the day or in the evening. The images are quite crispy, the colors are punchy, and the JPEGs can be easily used for social media. “Fujifilm and Olympus tend to deliver really nice JPEGs, but the Ricoh GR II beats both of them in my opinion,” we said in our review. There is also plenty of sharpness, amongst other things.
Sony RX1r II

The Sony RX1R series has been designed for serious photographers. The second version is no different. It houses a 42MP full frame sensor, a BIONZ X processor, and a 35mm f2 lens, amongst other things. The design is beautiful and functional, and the model has a metal build. The EVF is advanced, and the focusing speed is a lot like the old a7 series cameras. In other words, it is better to zone focus and work. Since it offers the same sensor as the a7r II, the image quality is just as great. “When it comes to the colors here, you’ll also be rather impressed with the results right out of the camera,” we added. Overall, the camera is worth a shot even today.
