Nikon has some wonderful cameras for various genres of photography. The company has perfect models for streets, events, and something more challenging, such as bird photography. If you are someone who needs a camera and a lens for the latter, then this duo will do the job with ease. Have a look.
Nikon Z9

What makes it great? The Nikon Z9 achieved a lot of firsts. This is the first camera that does not have a shutter, it brings the shield down over the shutter, and is the first Nikon camera to offer 3D tracking. It has illuminated buttons, a 45MP sensor, and focus down to a faint -8.5 EV. The grip is nice, and the weather sealing is quite perfect.
Why is it unique? The pre-capture release button makes it ideal for bird photography. Similarly, the camera can lock on to birds with ease. And in addition, firmware 3.0 improves subject detection and autofocus tracking. The image quality is another reason why one would invest in the Z9. If you are shooting in natural light, the RAW files give great results below ISO 3200. For low light, it is ideal to shoot up to ISO 6400. The colors in general are nice, and the 45MP sensor provides a lot of details as well work with.
The Nikon z9 is one of the few cameras that can do human, animal/bird, and vehicle detection. At the moment of publishing, only camera offerings from Nikon and Canon can do this. The way Nikon does animal and bird tracking is our preferred method. When you select the animal scene detection setting on the Nikon z9, it will detect both animals and birds.

Tamron 150-500mm F5-6.7 Di III

What makes it great? This is the smallest and lightest lens in its focal range. In fact, it is also less expensive than any other Nikon offering. If you want reach, you get it with this one. It has a minimum focus distance of 0.6m at the wide end and 1.8m at the telephoto end. In addition, it can take beatings as well, given how weather sealed it is. For just $1200, you get an exceptional offering.
Why is it unique? When paired with the Nikon Z9, the results are quite admirable. When photographing small birds, the lens does a great job in both DX and FX modes. If you are shooting at f9, you get center-to-edge sharpness, and the bokeh is limited given a lens of nature. The colors are natural, accurate and pretty great for someone photographing birds. Since Nikon works closely with Tamron, photographers have nothing to worry about.
The Tamron 150-500mm f5-6.7 Di III VC VXD has great reach. And while heavy, it’s not too heavy to wield without a tripod, thanks to stabilization. Despite making a big zoom compact, the lens does a good job of managing distortion and aberration.
