Landscape photographers have been looking at various cameras for this genre of photography. While some have relied on full frame cameras, there are those who look at medium format. Of the various companies, Sony creates some of the best full frame models, and there is only one that stands a chance to accompany landscape photographers. Have a look.
The Sony a7R V is the best model for the job. One of the reasons is that it has a 61MP sensor, BIONZ XR processor, a designated AI processing unit, and a 5-Axis in-body image stabilization. The camera can record 240.8MP composites, has 693-point high density phase detection AF, and up to 10 fps with AF/AE tracking. The device is also packed with a 9.44-million-dot EVF and a 4-axis multi-angle LCD monitor.

The Sony a7R V has subject detection, comes with vehicle/Train and Airplane tracking, and can track birds and ducks a lot. The autofocus is impressive, can work in any setting, and people can use it well even in low light. The camera is designed for wildlife, event, and people photography, which also means you can use it for landscapes with ease.
As much of an upgrade as the a7r V is, there are a few areas for improvement. Although it’s improved, there’s still very subtle low ISO sensor noise. The High ISO performance could be improved, and Imaging Edge needs to be brought into the 21st Century. The pros far outweigh the cons. It’s a rugged workhorse that’ll satisfy a variety of needs. The a7r V is an excellent choice for wedding, portrait, fashion, commercial, wildlife, landscape, architectural, documentary, and hybrid photographers.

The Sony camera also produces beautiful colors, great contrast, and the images are quite accurate. The high ISO is good even at ISO 6400, and when editing the RAW file, the images don’t fall apart. The low-light photos are clean and the 61MP pixel helps you get detailed images. The RAW files can also help to recover the details up to 15 stops. So if the photos are dark, they can be opened up with ease.
The camera has a nice, large LCD, a nice grip, and you will also get nice weather sealing. Alongside, you also get to work with Sony’s impressive lenses, which can do so much for you. With a price tag of slightly over $3000, the Sony device is perfect for serious photographers and professionals who do not want to compromise.
