Many enthusiasts and professionals are spoiled for choice in this domain, and so, some rely on Google searches to figure out what people are opting for. If you are confused as well, here is a look at some models that everyone is looking for online.
Panasonic Lumix S9

The Panasonic camera features a 24MP camera, a dedicated LUT button, 30fps burst rate, and 779 phase-detection AF points. This model is perfect for hybrid users, who want the best of photos and videos. There is also great and simple ergonomics, the menu is easy to go through, and you get a good high ISO output, amongst others. The S9 nails focus pretty well with Leica lenses as well, and the colors from the files are great. In fact, with the LUTs, you get a lot of creative freedom. And with the L-series lens mount, one can use many third-party lenses. As we explained in our review, “For $1,499 the Panasonic Lumix S9 is at a pretty great price point when you consider the stylish looks and the fact that it can more or less replace your Fujifilm cameras when using the Real Time LUT features.”

Leica D-lux 8

The only compact camera on the list, the DLUX 8 is also one Leica’s cheapest offerings. It has a 4/3 CMOS sensor, a 24-75mm lens, and a 3-inch TFT LCD screen. It has a decent grip, is easy to use, and makes point and shoot a fun exercise. This model is perfect for anyone who wants a Leica model that looks like a Fujifilm. The autofocus is as fast as the SL2s, which means if you like to shoot for travel or on the streets, this is a perfect offering. The JPEG is pretty good, and you won’t have to rely on RAW files as such. If you are someone who prefers a compact camera, then this is an ideal partner.

With the A7 V already out, there are chances the a7 IV will cost far less. Moreover, it is a fantastic camera in every way. A 33MP sensor, 5-axis in-body image stabilization, and Real-time Eye AF for Human/Animal/Bird. In fact, it functions really well in low light, and in great light, it is quite quick. It can track animals well, and human detection is just as good. The images are well-balanced, and the high ISO results are usable up to ISO 6400. RAW files have an incredible dynamic range, and JPEGs have high quality as well. This is an all-round camera for any need.
Nikon Z50 II

While we have not reviewed the Nikon camera, we have discussed how powerful a small device it is. It offers a 20MP sensor, a dedicated Picture Control button for presets and imaging recipes, and an EXPEED 7 image processing engine. The latter is also helpful with subject detection and 3D tracking. The electronic viewfinder is bright, and the burst rate is 30fps. In fact, one also gets a pre-release capture function. Nikon has packed it with built-in flash, an ISO range of 100-51,200, and hi-res zoom during video recording. All of this under $1000.
