Yesterday we filed the pilot episode of our new Inside the Photographer’s Mind web show with Adorama TV. Inside the Photographer’s Mind takes the ideas we’ve presented in our interviews, and brings them even further into an in-person interview. Our tagline is “The Psychology of Photography” and so it only makes sense to get deeper into the psyche of how and why photographers create.
The first episode was filmed with Vivienne Gucwa and explores her beginnings growing up in Queens and having to move out of her home at an early age. While under a lot of stress, she would take long walks and eventually was convinced to get a camera. From there she learned how to use GIMP, got a pretty serious following on Tumblr, and became a Sony Artisan.
We also ask Vivienne some trivia questions about photography.
The interview can be watched above or you can check it out at Adorama TV.
