Need a fancy new strap for your Leica? COOPH just dropped their latest camera strap especially made for your precious camera!
If you loved the classic Leica Rope Strap by COOPH but wish it would come in a more comfortable width for your hefty cameras, today’s the day they make it happen for you. The latest to join their camera collection is the Double Rope Strap that was made from their collaboration with iconic German camera maker Leica. As its name suggests, this new offering is constructed using two lengths of repurposed climbing rope for a broader, more comfortable strap. It’s a subtle tweak to the usual rope strap design many photographers have come to prefer when it comes to camera straps, but it’s geared to make a difference, especially for lugging around heavier cameras.
According to COOPH, this new design features the same sturdy mountaineering rope and Italian vegetable-tanned leather they used in their award-winning classic strap. At the ends are either o-rings or a nylon belt. There are also some leather protection discs so the strap ends don’t scratch your camera. It comes in Red and Night Black — two colors chosen for being synonymous with the Leica brand. The strap also comes in lengths of 100cm and 126cm. Can’t decide which variation to get? COOPH recommends getting each length in its own color.
COOPH promises that the handmade Leica Double Rope Strap will be perfect for every type of photography, and serve as a simple yet sturdy accessory for the stylish photographer. So if you’re shopping for a classic-looking camera strap to match your precious camera — Leica or otherwise — this would be a sleek option.
Interested in grabbing this new camera strap? It’s now up on the COOPH webshop for €119, but the 126cm length will ship beginning on December 20th.
