The Vanguard VEO 2X tripod is designed for traveling photographers who demand more.
Tripods are one of those accessories that do so much for us but get little attention and praise. Vanguard is looking to change that with a new line of tripods that offer some industry firsts at incredibly affordable price points. The Vanguard VEO 2X 4-in-1 tripod (tripod, monopod, ball head, and pan head) is being marketed at traveling photographers who want lightweight, affordable gear with X-Tra features. Join us after the break for more information on the Vanguard VEO 2X tripod system.
Vanguard has been a leader in creating travel-friendly tripods for quite some time, and they are hoping to continue that tradition with their latest model. The Vanguard VEO 2X tripod is available in both aluminum and carbon fiber, which means you’ll get a lightweight tripod no matter which model you choose. You can get the VEO 2X with leg diameters of 20mm, 23mm, or 26mm. The tripods can hold anywhere from 8.8lbs to 26.5lbs.
Not only can the Vanguard VEO 2X tripods hold a ton of weight, but they’re also incredibly versatile. According to Vanguard, the VEO 2X is the only tripod you’ll need to travel with because of its X-Tra features. The tripod can quickly and easily be transformed into a monopod 59-inches tall by simply removing a leg and attaching the center column to it. The head can be used as a ball head and as a pan head: great for both photography and videography.
The tripod features a quick, take-apart system that will allow you to clean out debris from inside the legs. It also comes with an adapter enabling you to collapse the tripod and shoot as low to the ground as you can get. The legs are covered in a non-slip TPU grip, which should make it easy to hold and handle, and the two models can fold down to 15.7-inches and 16.1-inches.
The Vanguard VEO 2X tripod is available now from authorized dealers nationwide. The aluminum models start at $149.99 and the carbon fiber model sells for $289.99. For more information, head to the official Vanguard website.
