Everyone into travel photography is in it for documenting the unforgettable moments, places, and faces of our trips. Apart from helping us remember our own personal experiences, travel photography also serves as a perfect opportunity for us to tell compelling visual stories. Munich-based Skander Khlif has been one of our go-to photographers when it comes to beautiful travel stories and everyday city scenes. He reinforces that position with his latest street photography series, shot from his trip to Italy’s famous Lago di Garda.
Lago di Garda, or Lake Garda, is the largest lake in Italy and a popular holiday destination in the northern region of the country. It sits halfway between Brescia and Verona, between Venice and Milan, and along the edge of the Dolomites. Popular tourist spots make interesting hotspots for some street and travel photography. So, we can definitely see why Khlif made sure to keep his eyes peeled for some picture-perfect moments.
All the busy scenes Khlif captured covers the dynamic part of the series, which in turn tells us about how the trip went for him. It’s easy to imagine him walking around the lake, on the lookout for exciting stuff while basking in the sights, activities, and daily life around him. However, he also made sure to capture quiet moments that show the more laid-back side of things to complete the mood of this series.
