Flickr has sent out an offer code for those who are yet to register their Pro accounts this 2019.
Still interested in keeping your Flickr account active? You might want to check if your photos are well within the 1,000 photos limit if you’re on a Free account. If not, check your e-mail inbox because Flickr has just sent out an offer code for those who are thinking of getting a Pro account.
In case you missed it, Flickr has been making big changes to the platform since being acquired by SmugMug in April 2018. In fact, the company has already started limiting Free accounts to 1,000 photos and videos. If you need more storage, you have to upgrade to Flickr Pro. The good news is, if you’re planning to make the jump soonest, the company has decided to give you 15% off the first year of your Pro account. Just use the offer code FLICKRPRO15 at checkout. Be quick, however, as the offer is only available until January 15.
First time signing up for a Flickr Pro account? We are reminded of the following perks that come with it:
- Unlimited Storage
- Ad-Free Browsing
- Advanced StatsÂ
- Premier Product SupportÂ
- More Partner Discounts
- Advanced Stats on Mobile
- Increased Exposure.
- New 5K Photo Display Option.
- 10 Minute Videos
So, what happens to your Free account now if you have over 1,000 photos and videos? You might have noticed that uploading new photos has been disabled if you are still over the limit after January 8. You can download your content over the limit until February 5. After that, Flickr will delete them starting from the oldest to newest date uploaded to put your account within the limit.
Ready to make the big jump? Head to the Flickr Pro page for the full details and sign up for an Annual Plan or Monthly plan with the offer code.
