PhoGo promises to make it easier for clients to connect with the photographers they need through a revolutionary mobile app.
Ever needed a photographer for an urgent project but can’t seem to find one? Alternatively, are you a photographer having a hard time getting started with your career because clients can’t seem to find you? The solution could soon come in the form of the PhoGo app, which promises to transform the freelance photography market as it stands today.
According to its Indiegogo campaign, the motivation behind the PhoGo: Photography on Demand project is simple: to help clients find and contract with a photographer wherever you are in the world. Whether you’re in your own city or in need of a photographer to hire for projects abroad, the app promises to connect with one with just a few clicks.
Additionally, the PhoGo app will also serve as a platform for photographers to gain exposure, as well as a community that will connect them with other photographers across the globe. While these two things are features that we already see in many photography apps, platforms, and websites, it does make sense for freelance photographers — especially those who are just starting out — to be able to showcase their work and network with both clients and colleagues with the convenience of a mobile app.
Sounds all good so far? The PhoGo project needs your support to help raise $45,000 for the coding of the web app, as well as the mobile app for iOS and Android. Since the campaign has a flexible goal, the folks behind PhoGo plan to allocate the funds to further develop the concept on a larger scale in case they fall short of the funding goal.
If you think the PhoGo project is something you’d like to help make happen, do check out the Indiegogo campaign to find out more, back the project, and grab a perk that comes with it.
