If you want to get the most out of your iPhone X camera, then this is going to be an announcement you will want to see.
Moment has been making a name for themselves with their high quality mobile phone add-on lens solutions for various smartphones. In fact, very recently they were a headline product launched alongside Google’s latest flagship phone, and now Moment is getting onboard with Apple’s latest offering – The iPhone X.
Today, Moment is officially announcing two new Moment cases for iPhone X; one standard phone case with the necessary mounts for the Moment lenses, and one battery case which also provides extra power for your iPhone X. Apple’s latest camera technology in the iPhone X is impressive, and up to this point there has not been any companies to support the new camera with their accessory lenses. This makes these new Moment cases a big deal for those who have decided to jump on board the iPhone X train.
The Moment Photo Case, which will retail for $30, features a thin, rubberized body with either a black canvas or American dark walnut style. This case has been designed with a subtle texture, meant to help make the device easier to handle one-handed without sacrificing style. The Photo Case also comes with a standard strap interface which will allow you to easily connect the case to one of your extra neck or wrist straps so you don’t drop your phone.
The Battery Case is just being announced today; the product itself is still in development. Moment says the case will be durable, but as thin as possible. The current prototypes feature a 3,000mAh battery which will provide almost a full recharge of the iPhone X battery, but one advantage here is that it can be charged by plugging it into a wall as well as being Wireless Qi compatible. It is also expected to feature an electronic shutter button to snap pics with the built-in Apple camera software, or enabling advanced customization features in Moment’s app. The battery case will come in black and is expected to be around $99. Since the product is still in development though much of this could change between now and when the product actually comes to market.
However, if you are interested in that product and want to learn more, the company has set up an email notification list where you can sign up to receive updates about its development and eventual availability.
If you are interested in getting your hands on the Moment Photo Case you can go ahead and get your preorders in now over on the Moment website – the photo cases will start shipping on December 5th, 2017.
