The Pelican Protector Camera Case Can Probably Double as an Applebox For Vertically Challenged Photographers

If you’re a photographer and have been for a while, then you’re most likely aware of what the Pelican Protector Camera Case can do. Pelican cases have forever been used to protect camera gear from an absolutely horrific abuse from the folks who typically throw around bags and boxes in the shipping process. In fact, it’s being billed as watertight, crushproof and dustproof. Photographers typically take them to protect lights, lenses, cameras, and other gear simply because of how reliable and high quality the cases are.

More details are after the jump.

To give a bit more of street cred to how good Pelican cases are, on a recent shoot we stacked them up so that I could get to a higher elevation. Then other photographers got on top. I’m probably around 180lbs and so if a camera case can survive my weight, I’m sure that you’d be happy with what it can do in most situations. In fact, lots of people who ship them don’t even bother packing them in boxes. Yup, they’re tried and true for sure.
