“As we use natural Veg-Tan leather it will age in a really beautiful way. Any mark, scratch or bump will accompany your camera and tell the story alongside your pictures.” – Stroppa Camera Straps
Stroppa is a new camera accessories maker based in Poland that strives to deliver what they say are “simple and useable camera accessories.” By paring down to the basics of design, Stroppa has created a line of camera straps that combine sleek minimalism with dependable durability. The straps are made of high quality rope and are finished with elegant, hand-stitched leather and eschew mass-production manufacturing for a more artisanal approach, including a saddle-stitch technique to ensure durability and more importantly, that your camera stays securely in place.
The Stroppa line of camera straps offers 3 distinct options in the Stroppa Flex, Stroppa Duo, and the Stroppa Active.
The Flex offers Stroppa’s minimalist design that includes a rope made of polypropylene silk that’s flexible but resistant to tears and breaks.
The Duo is a thicker version of the Flex; it’s eye-catching, dense braiding and softer materials promise comfort for photographers while still providing a clean look.
Lastly, the Stroppa Active is built to last. For the photographer that’s not afraid of the environments or getting a little dirty, the Active is braided out of polyamide threads and promises to take any abuse you can muster.
Each strap retails for around $35 USD making it affordable without sacrificing quality or materials. All Stroppa camera straps are built to order with length options ranging from 70cm to 150cm. If you’re unsure of your needed length, Stroppa defaults all orders to a comfortable 90cm. Stroppa is currently taking orders for all three styles and includes free world-wide shipping.
