It’s been a while since anyone tried to change the disposable camera, but Fujifilm is looking to do that right now with their Quicksnap cameras. The Fujifilm Wonder Shop NYC shared a video with their following asking photographers which design they’d like more. Personally, #4 is my favorite due to its beautiful and almost retro-minimal look. It seems almost x-series like!

The fact that they’re doing this means a whole number of things. First off, it means the cameras are still selling. Plus it means the company cares enough about the product to find a way to increase sales in some way or another. Will it actually increase sales? Maybe. Disposable cameras are kind of cool and fun to work with. Plus, film point and shoot cameras are fun anyway.

These cameras are often loaded with Superia X-TRA 400 film, and typically that’s good enough for most uses. Will the images look as good as a camera with a bounced flash and a slow shutter speed when you’re having fun on a crazy night? Hell no. But providing your subject matter has a bit of edge to it, they can have their own charm.

Ilford has their own disposable cameras–so make sure that you don’t forget about those either.
