Model Mayhem Introduces Verified Credits to Weed out Creepy Photographers

In a step to become a significantly less creepy place for photographers and models to collaborate, Model Mayhem recently announced Verified Credits–a system that works very much like LinkedIn, Yelp, etc. Basically, what it’s doing is allowing users to rate one another and tell the community more about how they work together. Models and photographers can both say how often they’ve shot together and show verification that, well, you know, the other person isn’t a creep. For a while, this was a concern of so many models looking to get into the industry.

Hopefully, what this will do is make Model Mayhem look and function more like an actual community rather than more of a Craigslist for models and photographers. To that end, if enough word gets out them more people may come back to using it for serious reasons.
