Hey food photographers,
As many of you know, we feature excellent photography from equally excellent photographers; and this time around we want to inspire others (and potentially make other hungry) with really beautiful food photography.
But we’re not just talking about food, what we’re specifically looking for this time around is the cooking process. We’re interested in not only featuring your images but also talking to you about the aspects of the documentary process behind all this.
So how do you pitch it us?
– Shoot us an email at editors[at]thephoblographer[dot]com. You’ll also probably notice the little call to feature you on the sidebar.
– Tell us about yourself as a photographer. We want to know the who, what, when, where, how and why.
– Show us websites and around 10 images at 1000 pixels on the long side at 72 dpi.
– Tell us why the readers want to see your work., or why your project is really cool.
Julius and I will review all of your submissions, talk it over, and get back to you based on the volume of emails. Don’t let this discourage you, we’re both very cool cats; just busy. And if you have a photo that makes great use of lighting, submit it for our Creating the Photograph series that’s all about teaching folks about lighting.
Thanks a million!
PS: The Phoblographer Mobile should be launching next week, and your photos are bound to look incredible on it. We’ve been working on this for two years now.
