Adobe has announced the release of Adobe Camera Raw 8.7.1 and DNG Converter 8.7.1, adding support to a single new cameras, lens profile corrections, as well as patching some minor bugs of the previous release. The latest ACR release adds RAW image support for only the Sony A7 Mk II, a much shorter list compared to ACR 8.7 released last month and yet still just as important.
Along with the newly added support for the Sony full frame mirrorless camera, ACR 8.7.1 also fixes the chromatic aberration bug for Samsung NX1 cameras. Adobe has also included a few new profiles for lenses such as the Zeiss Distagon T 35mm f1.4 ZM.
Adobe also announced it would plans to release a Lightroom 5.7.1 update next week. There’s no word on what the update will include, but it all the updates from ACR 8.7.1 will likely be in the mix.
Adobe Camera Raw 8.7.1 is a free update for current Photoshop CC subscribers and Photoshop CS6 owners available now to both Mac and Windows users. Check out the full list of supported gear after the jump.
