Tamron has announced a trio of lenses for cameras of all sizes from micro-four thirds, mirrorless APS-C bodies, and all the way to full-frame Canon and Nikon DSLR shooters. First up though we’re going to talk about Tamron’s first ever all-in-on zoom lens for Micro Four Thirds cameras 14-150mm F3.5-5.8 Di III.
Designed for Olympus and Panasonic cameras such as the OMD EM10 and GX7, the lens offers up an equivalent focal length of 28-300mm for a seriously wide range. Despite this long zoom range Tamron decided not to include vibration compensation to have a tripod handy when shooting at longer focal lengths. As a trade off for the missing VC feature, the lens is fairly compact and it has a filter diameter of just 52mm. The 14-150mm F3.5-5.8 will be available starting June 26th for $589.

Tamron 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 Di III VC (Canon EOS M-mount)
Moving up the sensor size range, Tamron also announced a new Canon M mount version of its Tamron 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 Di III VC. Previously, the third-party lens maker introduced this lens for Sony E-mount bodies in 2011 and now with the new version in tow Canon shooter will be able to attach this piece of kit to the EOS M.
Taking the EOS M’s 1.6x crop factor into account the Tamron lens has an equivalent focal length range of 27-300mm all contained in a package that weighs roughly one-pound. Starting this June 26th, the lens will be available in the U.S. for $499.
Tamron 28-300mm F/3.5-6.3 Di VC PZD (Canon/Nikon full frame mount)
Rounding out its new releases, Tamron said its 28-300mm F/3.5-6.3 Di VC PZD will be available on June 26th as well for $849. The full frame superzoom lens was originally announced earlier this February but now we finally have a release date and price.
The lens will come to both Canon and Nikon mounts—plus a Sony version to be announced on a later date—with advanced Broad-Band Anti-Reflection coatings to minimize flare and ghosting. The new piece of kit features 19 elements in 15 groups coupled with an ultrasonic motor system and vibration compensation to help keep things steady.
