After showing up at CES 2014 and the Sochi Olympics, it seems the Nikon D4s will be announced on February 25th. Nikon Rumors posted the supposed reveal date along with saying the camera will be on display at WPPI and The Photography Show in the United Kingdom.
After a month of consistent leaks and being spotted at the Olympics, the Nikon D4s seems primed for its official reveal soon. The new Nikon flagship is rumored to be the company’s first pro-level DSLR to shoot 4K video. Along with this feature Nikon Rumors posted a report detailing the camera’s specs and a $5,996.95 price. The camera could include a 16MP sensor, HD movie recording in 1080p at 60fps, a new focus mode for 3D tracking in 9 or 21 groups, and an improved time-lapse movie recording with an adjustable 1/6 stop interval shutter.
