Alongside the Sony A6000, the Japanese camera company also updated parts of its superzoom Bridge Camera lineup as well as two new Point and Shoots at CP+. Heading up the new additions is the Sony DSC-H400, a bridge camera that breaches 60x optical superzoom barrier. With a 63x zoom lens, the H400 has a 35mm equivalent focal length range of 24.5-1550mm. Thus far the highest zoom bridge camera we’ve seen was the 60x Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ70. Along with the long reach of the lens, the H400 sports a 20.1MP sensor that can take 720p video at 30fps. The Sony H400 will be available $320.

Sony DSC-HX400V
While the 50x optical zoom Sony HX400V does not have quite the focal length range as its H400 brethren, it makes up for with the f2.8-6.3 Carl Zeiss Vario Sonnar lens. The HX400V also has some notable upgrades including 20.4MP sensor with 1080p movie recording and a 10 fps continuous shooting speed. It also has an articulating 3.0″ 921K dot XtraFine LCD screen plus Wi-Fi, GPS, and NFC connectivity. This fully specced out superzoom camera will be out in March for $500

Luckily the camera still records 720p movies and it has a decent 3-inch 460K dot LCD screen on the back. Due to come out later this February, the H300 will come to market for a $220 price.
