Hey folks!

In honor of Phottix releasing the Nikon version of the Mitros+ today, we’re partnering with them to give away one of the flashes. The good news is that you can get it in either Canon or Nikon. For this contest, we want to see your best and most innovative use of lighting.

Details are down below; but also be sure to check out our Mitros+ review.

BIG FYI: We’re not looking to steal anyone’s information or sell it to anyone either. We’re just looking to have a little fun with our readers in an interactive contest. However, we require your email address for the reason that entering the contest means that you’ll be signed up for the Phottix email newsletters and we will contact you to let you know that you’ve won.

We need certain information to ensure that no one cheats: such as your age, and this way we can fully verify your real account and make it fair for everyone. Trust me, we don’t care about seeing what your friend ate for lunch on their Facebook wall and we’re not farming information. Leave that to the NSA.

This contest is available to everyone worldwide ages 18+

Head on over to our Facebook contest page. This is a photo contest and we want to see your single best portrait image of your own creation. Limit one per user, and you must like the page to enter. All entries must be your own original photo.

Voting by friends and family is allowed on each photo. While voting helps our decision, in the end this isn’t a popularity contest. In previous sweepstakes that we’ve done, none of the most voted photos have ever won.

BIG DISCLAIMER: WE’RE NOT GOING TO USE YOUR PHOTOS FOR ANYTHING AT ALL EXCEPT FOR ANNOUNCING THE WINNING IMAGE

The contest starts January 26th 11PM EST and ends February 10th 12AM EST. We’ll announce the winner shortly afterwards and contact them via email.

Good luck everyone! Questions? Email us at editors[at]thephoblographer[dot]com.
