Oh man! Either someone is playing an incredibly elaborate prank on us all or the Fujifilm XT-1 seems very real. Mirrorless Rumors published more images of the upcoming camera. From what we can tell, not only is there weather sealing but this is the first Fujifilm camera to come with a vertical grip since the older S5 DSLR from way back in the day.
A closer analysis of the camera shows two control dials: one on the front of the camera and on on the back that will probably operate similar to the way they do on the X Pro 1. Plus there is a full shutter speed dial with a lock, an ISO dial (which we’re super hyped about) exposure compensation, video record button, and the function button placed in the weirdest position ever.
For the strobist in me, I really hope that Fujifilm now allows for second curtain flash with PocketWizards because none of their other cameras can do this. However, Fujifilm decided to put a PC port in the camera.
Then there is the pronounced grip: which will make it feel more like an old school SLR. In fact, this camera might be the most designed like an old school SLR of any out there–even the Nikon Df (sans the mirror).
More images are after the jump.
