According to a comment on Facebook of Samyang Asia “all the existing lenses will have X Mount in future!” X Mount Users have something to be excited about. In North America Samyang is known As Rokinon. If you have seen our Guide to the Right Rokinon Lens for You, there will be a great selection to choose from. Also, according to Samyang Asia, a lens road map is forthcoming.
The company has yet to produce certain key lenses such as a 28mm, 21mm, and even the 50mm. Their lineup of anything longer than 85mm is also lacking, though they have mirror lenses if the user chooses to want to work with those.
What this also means though is that the company won’t just adapt their lenses designed for mirrorless cameras to the X system. And it will be interesting to see how this will work out ergonomically.
