Tenba’s camera bags haven’t always been the most visually stimulating, but they’ve more than proven themselves to photojournalists for years. And today, the company is announcing two new Messenger DNA bags. Specifically in the press release, they’re stating that the bags were inspired by the life and needs of the creative in NYC. It further states that the bags, “include a security strap to anchor the bag behind the user while riding a bicycle or scooter, and the photo insert is removable to quickly convert it from a camera bag to a general-purpose carryall.”
The exterior is made of Helix fabric, and comes with a rain cover for those days when all that apocalyptic weather that movies prophecize comes to fruition.
The bags come in two sizes. The DNA 11 accommodates either a mirrorless camera with 3-5 lenses, or a DSLR with 2-3 lenses, plus accessories, and the rear-padded sleeve will hold an iPad or an 11-inch MacBook Air. The DNA 15 fits a professional DSLR with 2-3 lenses (up to an attached 70-200mm f/2.8), flash and audio gear, and has two padded interior sleeves: one for a laptop up to 15 inches, and another for an iPad.
You’ll be able to get your hands on one later this month at the prices of $129.95 for the DNA 11 and $159.95 for the DNA 15.
