Holdfast Gear is a pretty new company that we believe has been positively killing it in the camera space. Nearly every Editor on the Phoblographer owns and loves their stuff–and we really believe that they create some truly stunning and functional products. And apparently, we’re not the only ones. Founder Matt Swaggart reached out to us today to tell us of a brand new achievement for the company: they’ve been nominated for a Martha Stewart American Made award. In fact, they’re actually right now in second place.

Not familiar with Holdfast Gear? They’re a photography strap, camera bag, and accessory manufacturer that is based on Oklahoma and uses all American products and manufacturing to create the masterpieces. Though pricey, their products are beautiful and extremely functional. We’ve reviewed lots of their products and they’ve even received the approval of B&H Photo as their wares are now carried and sold there.

Want to see the company go to an even higher place? Head on over to the voting page and give them a push.
