In addition to the brand new GX7, Panasonic is officially announcing the lens that they spoke of before: their 42.5mm f1.2 autofocus lens. On the Micro Four Thirds system that will be an equivalent of an 85mm with a near f2.5 field of view on a full frame camera. It is being called the Nocticron.

However, there aren’t very many details on the lens yet. But we’ll report in when we have more.
