Update: James contacted us, his image is after the jump.

When we first announced the winner of the Fujifilm X-E1 in our street photography contest, we stated that the person would have to contact us in 48 hours. Unfortunately, he didn’t. And so we had to go back to the image pool to find the perfect image. And the new winner is…

The winner is James Losey with his submission: A Man Contemplates Cages Birds at the Bird Garden in Kowloon.

Congratulations, you have 48 hrs to get back to us and with your permission, we’ll share the image with our readers.

Once again, thanks to all who participated. With around 2,000 entries, this was not an easy contest to judge.

Here’s the winning image
