At their showcase on CP+ in Yokohama, Japan, Cosina presented a number of new Voigtländer lenses in Canon and Nikon mount. The new series of SL II N lenses comprises the well-known 20mm f3.5 Color Skopar, 40mm f2 Ultron and 58mm f1.4 Nokton lenses. Additionally, Cosina presented an SLR version of their 75mm f1.8 Heliar Classic lens (previously available only in Leica M-mount) as well as a completely new 28mm f2.8 Color Skopar pancake lens. The new SL II N series of Voigtländer SLR lenses comes with a slightly changed exterior design. The overall specifications of the established 20mm, 40mm and 58mm models remain the same, however. All three lenses are available in Canon and Nikon mount, with an integrated CPU for communication between lens and body in the Nikon models.
The two new lenses in Voigtländer’s SL II lineup are the 75mm f1.8 Heliar Classic, which was first presented for Leica M-mount at Photokina 2010. This lens is now available in a different housing for use on Canon and Nikon SLR Cameras. The other new SL II lens is a 28mm f2.8 pancake lens, similar in appearance to its 40mm f2 sibling. The 28mm f2.8 Color Skopar will be available in Canon and Nikon mount as well.

While the price for the revised 20mm, 40mm and 58mm models will rise only slightly (about JPY 5,000 according to DC Watch), the release date as well as the retail price for the new 28mm and 75mm lenses have not been announced yet.
