Pentax has announced the release of two new cameras to their line. One of them being the W90 which is perfect for the adventure type person as it is essentially life proof includes the ability to withstand below freezing temperatures for winter photography. The other is the X90, their superzoom camera in a DSLR-esque body. More details after the jump.
W90
– Targeted towards enthusiasts, families with lots of kids, and backpackers.
-Waterproof up to 20 ft
-shockproof up to 4 ft
-12.1 mp sensor with 5x optical zoom
-Digital Microscope mode which allows macro subjects as near as 1cm from the camera
-HDMI port
-Captures movies at 720p at 30fps
-Advanced Pixel Track Shake Reduction allows the user to capture blur free images in any light
