Review: Black Rapid RS-7 Strap
To be honest, I had immense reservations when it came to any strap from Black Rapid. The way their strap connects, with their ConnectR-2 (CR-2), to a camera was daunting. The camera hanging upside down at my hip made me nervous. I first tested a Black Rapid strap with a friend’s camera. However, I was not completely convinced. When I found out it existed, I contacted Black Rapid via their twitter account (@BlackRapid) and I challenged their representative to persuade me into getting the strap while at Photo plus Expo 2010. You know what? I was won over.

Samples Images from the Leica 50mm F/0.95 Noctilux and 90mm F/2 Summicron
After trying the D-LUX 5 at Photo Plus Expo 2010, I had the opportunity to shoot with two very legendary lenses in the Leica lineup. The 50mm F/0.95 Noctilux is the fastest lens available in the lineup and the 90mm F/2 has been touted as one of the sharpest lenses the manufacturer makes. See the samples below, all of which were shot wide open.
Hands On: Olympus E-5
The Olympus E-5 is the company’s latest DSLR and an update to their much-loved E-3. Besides some ergonomic changes and a few more updates, the E-5 performs and feels much like the company’s sword swinging Spartan in an attempt to take out it’s competitors.
Hands On: Zeiss 85mm Compact Prime CP.2 /T2.1
Winning one of the longest name awards, the Zeiss 85mm Cine lens for Canon EF mount is a gorgeous and heavy hunk of glass designed for cinematographers. I got some time to try it out on the Canon 7D today and a video sample will be coming soon. However, my experience with the lens was much different than it has been with DSLR lenses.
Quick Samples: Ultra Wide Angle Nikon DX Lenses from Tamron and Sigma

Camera Nikon D90 Exposure 0.01 sec (1/100) Aperture f/5.0 Focal Length 35 mm ISO Speed 640
I paid a visit to Tamron and Sigma during Photo Plus Expo 2010, in New York City. Since I am in the market for better ultra wide angle Nikon DX lenses for my Nikon D90 for landscape photography, I thought I’d take a look at some of the new glass available.
