There is no $300 Rebate. Show me a reputable site where I can get the D7100 for $896.95 and I’ll order it RIGHT AWAY. Otherwise, I’m probably ordering an X100S
It’s $100 off the D7100 kit(nice one, Chris). But who knows, give it month and it could be $300 off. Given current D7000 prices, the D7100 looks over-priced at 50% more. Perhaps Nikon will admit it with a bigger price break.

Is this an early April Fools day joke? I always seem to fall for these “tricks” and I’m always disappointed. Sad, because things like this make me not want to visit this site in the future–even though otherwise, I really enjoy the content provided. My wife is a blogger, and I know how important affiliate links are, but my wife never bends the truth with her links to get people to click on them.

I don’t see the comments you’re referring to, “dude”. Can you just explain what you mean by “$300 instant rebate”? If you mean that you have to buy the camera plus a 70-300mm zoom lens to get $300 back, then I guess you’re right. I mean, if you want to go that route, you can buy the body+kit lens, the two other lenses, and two flashes to get a “$530 instant rebate”. I stand by what I said–this seems a bit duplicitous.
